Guinea Pig appreciation day has been postponed in honor of Queen Elizabeth's funeral. Many cavy lovers were disappointed but the founders and runners of this glorious week assured everyone that it will take place from September 26th-30th. However many Guinea Pig lovers are upset because of the little care that people are taking to the week being postponed. I quote from a website "guess we'll just have to be aware of Guinea Pigs another time"
However, all the cavy lovers are preparing for a guinea pig week of partying next week to celebrate the pigs that we have come to love and cherish. Stay posted for we shall be posting soon!
